Over the past 17 years, the Real Estate Center of Spearfish has awarded $38,000 in College Scholarships to Spearfish High School students. See how you can qualify for one of our scholarships below!

$1,000 SCHOLASTIC SCHOLARSHIP!

Eligibility Requirements:

Students graduating from (Spearfish) High School in 2025
Minimum GPA 2.5
Recipient must attend full time in a 2 year accredited higher education institution

Spartan Sophomores
Juniors
Seniors

How does it work?

Come to the selected Spartan home basketball games to qualify for Shootin for the Stars. All Spearfish High School Students, who show their Student ID, will have the opportunity to enter their name into a drawing. At half-time, ten tickets will be chosen from that drawing. Those ten Students will get an opportunity to shoot a basket. If they are successful, then their name goes into a drawing for the $1,000 Scholarship that will be drawn at the end of the basketball season. Only one name will be drawn from all of the entries and that Student will win $1,000 from the Real Estate Center of Spearfish, payable to the college (or vocational school) of their choice. Scholarship money is to be used at the beginning of their second semester in that school.
